My ancestor Captain William C. Long
was with George Washington’s army
among other Captains of the Revolutionary Army.
He mattered.
He is even mentioned in a few places.

He has a road named after him in Independence,Virginia
called “Long’s Gap” and I may go there one day.
He is very important and a very important part of history too.
He fought with the Revolutionary Army in some wars.
Today is the day when the Declaration of Independence go signed on
7/4/1776 and we must keep that date alive today
or else people may forget why we are truly free.
