After years of researching the Bible and it’s origins.I found out that the last book was added by mistake. It has many inconsistencies with the rest of the Bible regardless of what many believe.
Bible derives from the word Bibylos meaning papyrus and scroll
However the author of the Gospel of John never outrightly mentions his name, yet mentions Jesus, his apostles and the disciple whom he loved. The author of the Gospel of John never mentions himself by name.Paul however mentions himself by name in 1 Corinthians book. However you won’t find the author of the Gospel of John list himself. The author of Revelation however mentions his name.
Let’s compare passages with it:
Paul warned us if him,his followers or an angel from heaven preach another gospel to us than that which they preached, they are to be under God’s curse, but the author of Revelation says that there are seven Spirits which are before God’s throne and God only has one Holy Spirit:
But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than that which we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be to you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne;
Jesus warned us about the thief and the author of Revelation claims Jesus comes as a thief:
The thief comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.
Behold, I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked, and they see his shame.
Jesus is the savior of the world, yet to the author of revelation only 144,000 are saved:
1 John 4:14
And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world.
And I looked, and, see, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.
God sent not his Son into the world to condemn it,yet the author of Revelation says being lukewarm will get you cast out of Jesus mouth:
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
If a prophecy does not come true we should not be afraid of the prophecy, yet the author of Revelation said Jesus’s return was near and it never happened:
When a prophet speaks in the name of the LORD, if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the LORD has not spoken, but the prophet has spoken it presumptuously: you shall not be afraid of him.
Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.
To me the answers are clear,we cannot trust the Book of Revelation as divinely inspired.
