What most of you do not understand is that the actual 25 days of Christmas
has it’s roots in the Roman Pagan Festival of Saturnalia
and the Yule Tide is based on the sacrifice of children and animals
and yet this can include horses on fires and they did for their god Yule.
The god Yule is a nature god and you can research all about him too.
It is really sick what the ancients did
and Saturnalia was as you guessed it based on the God Saturn
just as the day Saturday is named because of Saturn,
yet if you are gonna hate Saturday,
you might as well hate the entire week day names
because they’re all based on pagan gods.
Even Sunday is based on the Sun God,
so hating Saturday alone is stupid.
Anyways how do we truly be Christian
a holiday season that has it’s earliest roots in a Roman debauchery festival?
For starters you can drink alcohol, even wine and that will be fine.
Paul even recommended wine to those with health issues.
Another thing even though December 25 has zero to so with Jesus Christ
even though Christ is in the word Christmas.
(It is like holy is a part of the word holiday,
yet some holidays have some things about it that are not holy,
yet in some surprising way Halloween is more righteous than Christmas
and actually is based on saints,
yet Christmas is just a cover name to hide why
commercialism is so rampant when Christmas is coming)
still you can celebrate Jesus birthday anyway on December 25
and in all honesty, you can celebrate his birthday 365 days straight.
There is no rule that says that we cannot celebrate
his birth, his crucifixion and his resurrection 24/7 and 365.
I do not care,go ahead and do it if you want to do it
and also you can enjoy the sweets, yet do it in moderation.
In fact the Bible tells us to do most everything in moderation
and it also tells us that we can eat to our hearts content,
yet we can do all of that at once if we try to do it.
About the Days of the Week,
you will have to read another post of mine about that one.
I may just do it in January to give y’all something new to read then
and I’ll even explain how both
the weekdays and the yearmonths are based on pagan traditions
and maybe discuss the possibility of renaming them all
and if we ever did how could we fit it into our reality sanely.
